Concept
Draupnir are simple accessories to use in conjunction with your favourite resonators, Pann Geysirs or Maskhals.
These are very effective and may require some iterations to find their best efficiency spot. This can lead them to be dropped on cables.
Which can be non-convenient (a flat base on a round shape). This added to the option to glue the resonators on a flat base for a better adhesion/effectivity.
As such, we designed the Draupnir – Cable Rings to provide a flat base (“drop near”) for our resonators close to their sweet spot.
Etymology
Draupnir is the magic ring of Odin, famous god of Northern Mythology. Draupnir is known to provide wealth to his/her bearer.
Variants
Draupnir is provided in three main versions
Draupnir I is basically a simple clip with a flat top to set your resonator on.
Draupnir I are basically declined in these diameters : 7 – 10 – 13 – 17 mm
They are printed in PETG for a mix of elasticity and robustness.
You can either order these from your favourite reseller, or print these yourself. Files are provided here under :
Pann Draupnir I – Cable Ring STL files to print in versions 7-10-13-17 mm
Draupnir II is a specific adaptation of previous version, dedicated to our partner Odeion-Cables plugs (round & flat shape)
They are printed in PETG for a mix of elasticity and robustness.
You can either order these from your favourite reseller, or print these yourself. There are many possible shapes from their catalog. Files will be provided upon request.
Draupnir III is meant to provide a strong bond & base for bigger cables and/or bigger resonators.
They are printed with a mix of thermoplastics & carbon fiber both for robustness & vibrations handling/cancelling. The bond is secured by robust M3 nuts & screws.
Draupnir III are basically declined in these diameters : 7 – 10 – 13 – 16 – 21 – 24 mm
You can adapt to the pressure to your diameter & liking using bolts or some straps (leather, cloth, tape…)
